For nearly 50 years the welding academy of the Dortmund Guild of Master Crafts has offered a comprehensive range of professional and vocational trainings for the processing of plastics materials, with special focus on the requirements of tradesmen and the industry.

State-of-the-art shop floors, highly qualified and motivated teachers, a dense network of experts combined with comprehensive advice and guidance complement our service offer.

A selection from our offering in plastics technology:
• Basic training and qualification renewal certificates for welding of pipes and piping parts according to the German Welding Association Standard DVGW GW 330
• Basic training and qualification renewal certificates for welding of pipes and piping parts with particular attention to the different test groups according to DVS 2212
• Welding of polyethylene pipes and piping parts for water drainage, for geothermic processes and biogas technology
• Evaluation of welding imperfections as per DVS 2212
• Qualification for underground PE pipe installation and fittings for gas and water supply
• Support for supervising PE-welding professionals
• Special training courses
